SUPERVISING OFFICER
Corky Dossey grew up in West Texas, where he developed strong outdoor and survival skills through hunting, fishing, and trapping. These early experiences built the discipline and self-reliance that would serve him well when he entered the United States Army after high school. Corky served as a 13 Fox Fire Support Specialist, completing multiple advanced trainings and excelling as an expert marksman.
After his military career, Corky devoted ten years to caring for his disabled father, an amputee who was wheelchair-bound. During this time, he committed himself to higher education, studying Human Behavior Science and Early Childhood Development & Teaching at Dallas College. He earned multiple academic honors, including recognition as a Chancellor’s Honoree and induction into Sigma Alpha Pi, the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS).
Corky has completed more than 40 hours of verbal de-escalation training, along with extensive medical and trauma-care training. He spent several years teaching in the school system, protecting and supporting children while ensuring that every student received the attention and guidance they deserved.
Throughout his life, Corky has dedicated himself to serving others—particularly the vulnerable. He lives by a vow rooted in his military service: to fight for the weak, protect the innocent, and defend the defenseless. His diverse experiences have developed strong skills in communication, organization, and leadership, and he remains committed to safeguarding faith, community, and the education system for future generations.
